Increasingly public offices are called upon to provide assistance and services to communities affected by the trauma of crime, terrorism, kidnapping, economic disasters and natural disasters. ACT provides training to individuals responsible for responding to these needs. ACT training programs are therapeutic modalities based on the faculty's'
extensive experience in treating communities and individuals that
are suffering from the effects of terrorism, kidnapping, cultural
integration, violence, economic challenges and natural disasters.
This knowledge base is transferable to public human resources professionals
and healthcare professionals who have not experienced managing or
supervising individuals with disorders from this type of trauma.
ACT is a not for profit organization funded by the private and
public sector. Sponsorship, donations, tuition fees and scholarships
for individuals are the primary source of capital for training and

customized, practitioner and non practitioner programs for the public
sector transfers and teaches
techniques that are effective tools for treatment at any level to
improve the well being of people and thereby their communities.
The training programs are based on the use of Ericksonian
Hypnosis and Philosophical Principles, EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and selected components
from other relevant treatment modalities that are conducive for
trauma treatment,
presented within a psychodynamic framework.
